What You Can Expect

Before, during, and after swimming lessons with Infant & Tots Survival Swim, it's essential to be prepared and understand what to expect:

Swim Bag

Swim Bag

Make sure to bring a swimming suit, a change of clothes, and a towel for both your baby and yourself to the swim lesson. Having these essential tools ensures comfort and convenience during and after the swim lesson for both you and your child.

Sad & Smiley faces

Tears to Cheers

It's common for babies to cry in a new environment, especially when introduced to water. However, crying is a natural response to new experiences, and it often subsides with time and familiarity. Consistent attendance at swim lessons helps babies adjust faster, turning tears into cheers as they learn water safety.

Underwater Expectations

At Infant & Tots Survival Swim, we emphasize the importance of preparing your child for unexpected water situations. Our approach teaches children proper breath control and comfort in the water. Learning to swim begins with being at ease in the water, and this comfort is facilitated by familiarizing children with going underwater safely.

Double Diaper

Double Diaper

For any child that is not FULLY potty trained, it's mandatory to wear a disposable swim diaper underneath a reusable swim diaper. We require that you use a specific brand of diaper called Splash About Happy Nappy Swim Diaper. You can purchase the diaper from Amazon. This double diaper system ensures hygienic swimming conditions during the swim lesson for everyone involved.
